Welcome to our Little School House! Our commitment is to create a safe environment where students can thrive in a small group setting with Bible based morals. We steward autonomy in our students with the aim to achieve emotional maturity, creative ingenuity, and a love for a lifetime of learning.

Kindergarten-Second grade class meets Monday, Wednesday, and Fridays from 9AM-1PM. We cover the core subjects of English Language Arts, Arithmetic, agriculturally based Science, and Social Studies.
There is an annual registration fee of $50 per student. Our school year is 36 weeks long broken into 6 terms. Tuition is $600 per term. We offer an optional 6-week summer term as well.
We utilize Memoria Press, Rod & Staff, Khan Academy, and our in-house unit studies for curriculum.
For the 2026/27 year, enrollment is closed for Lower Elementary.

Who we are
Little School House is a micro-school in Jacksonville, AR. Our education model is foundationally based on the Bible and developed through the lens of agriculture. Our classes are small and of mixed ages. We aim to nurture a sense of autonomy, emotional maturity, and creative ingenuity in our students.

We school on a Year-Round Sabbath Schedule, meaning we have lessons for 6 weeks followed by a 1-week break, and our summer break is 4 weeks long.
